The first day of GenAI Summit Valencia delivered a strong balance between technical depth and organizational perspective.
It was one of those events that does not stay at surface level, and you can feel that the conversation itself is maturing.
There were sessions focused on scalability, security, and how to bring AI solutions into production responsibly, alongside others centered on leadership and how organizations should manage this shift internally.
Personally, the more technical side, especially everything related to architecture and security, was the most valuable part for me. That is where I see the strongest signal right now: less generic AI discourse and more useful discussion about how to build real systems.
I also found the Cloud Code workshop especially interesting, mainly because of its practical approach to organizing internal skills and shaping the Layer ecosystem.
Beyond the talks themselves, it was also a day of reconnecting with the international AI community. And that kind of connection matters a lot, because you do not only learn from presentations. You also learn from the conversations that open up around them.
Special mention to Javi Romero from XRPL Brain for the product demo. A very inspiring pipeline and stack, with that mix of energy, curiosity, and willingness to investigate that spreads quickly.
When an event manages to combine useful knowledge, honest conversations, and community, you leave with more clarity and more motivation to keep building.
